After an intense 120 minutes, Super Eagles of Nigeria has won the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 4-2 on penalties.

Osimhen won a penalty in the second half and the South Africans equalized in the 90th minutes dragging the match into extra time hoping that Goalkeeper Williams will replicate the Cape Verde history.

Substitute Terem Moffi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Kenneth Omeruo, Captain Troost Ekong and Ola Aina all played penalties for Nigeria with Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali saving a penalty.

The last time Nigeria qualified for AFCON finals was in 2013 in South Africa.
