For the second time in a month, Local Government workers from Ukwa East LGA protest at the Local Government Council Headquarters over the non-payment of their four (4) months salaries..
This is coming in the heels of a similar protests by Umuahia North and Ugwunagbo LGA workers Council workers, penultimate weeks.
As at the time of filing this report, the council Headquarters, in Okeikpe is under lock and key as no offcial of government is around to address the angry workers for fear of a probably attack.
An angry female worker was heard saying, ” If Gov. Alex Otti is heartless, will the state Accountant General join him in being heartless, a woman ?, She queried openly
