Peace in South East Project in line with their agenda to unite and bring back a lasting peace to the South East Geographical Zone as well celebrate the Yuletide with the people in conjunction with the Deputy Speaker, House, Representatives RT. Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu distributed palliatives to Osisioma Ngwa LGA indigenes at the residence of Senator Nkechi Nwaogu PhD, CON.

Senator Nwaogu ably represented by Chief Ken Wogu in her goodwill message regretted her absence because of her official engagement but used the medium to thank everyone who come out in their numbers to participate actively in the event and encouraged them to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who she said is poised to achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda also advised them to inculcate social values that will promote peace and stability which is the sole aim of Peace In South East Project.

In his speech the Chairman of APC in Osisioma Ngwa LGA Engr. Emmanuel Nwaughara expressed his gratitude to Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu,the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives and Senator Nkechi Nwaogu for their thoughtfulness in remembering the people. He also encouraged all the beneficiaries to spread the gospel to the nooks and crannies of the Local Government Area, reminding them that, peace is indispensable.

In their responses, some of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of others, thanked Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Senator Nkechi Nwaogu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while pledging their total readiness to work for the actualisation of peace and stability in South East Nigeria.

Notable dignitaries that attended the event includes; Chief Ken Wogu, Chief Innocent Alozie, Hon. Charles Akoma, Hon. Obioma Ogbonna, Hon. Chief Mrs Lovina Dike and lot of others too numerous to be mentioned.

Recall that last month, Peace In South East Project was inaugurated with the responsibility to bring back peace and stability to the South East Region.
