You could recall that in September, 2023, K. N. Peter, a young and creative Nollywood screenwriter from Amuru Abam, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State, Nigeria, had intimated the public on his Guinness World Record attempt as the GW youngest screenwriter, male by an individual which was approved for verification by the GWR team with a screenshot of his proofs.
According to the GWR team, K. N. Peter was the pioneer of the title as no one in the world holds it. He also shared with the public, some of the guidelines and criteria to the record attempt.
The event was originally scheduled for 30th, March, 2024 in Lagos state but the applicant has reached out to www.newsmirrorng.com yesterday, march 28, 2024 to hint on the official cancellation of the event and sincerely apologize to the public for any inconveniences this might cause them
Mr. Kalu appreciated his PR team, made up of some notable nollywood screenwriters, public affairs analysts, publicists, Social media moderators and influencers as well as the public who used their media platforms to drum support for him.
The Abia born young writer said, there is no loss but gain as the step he took gave him a lot of exposure and relevance, as it has afforded him the opportunity to meet with some personalities, and reached some heights which ordinarily, may be difficult to attain.
He thanked Nigerians for always supporting their own and promises a better arrangement and outing the next time.
