Ahead of the 2023 National Assembly election, Engr Chinedu Onyeizu, the Labour Party candidate for Abia South senatorial district, has dismissed the rumour of being sponsored by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
He described the sponsored rumour as a manifestation of PDP’s desperation and the handiwork of those who know that they have already lost the election even months ahead of the polls. He urged the PDP and their senatorial candidate to quickly come to terms with the current realities that come 2023, the seat of the senator representing Abia South would be occupied by him, the Labour Party’s candidate.
Engr Chinedu Onyeizu further charged the youth, women and all men of goodwill, who have suffered the misfortune of having the wrong people in power, to remain steadfast in their quest for the change that shall surely come.
Addressing newsmen, he reassured the people of Aba South, Aba North, Ugwunagbor, Ukwa East, Ukwa West, and Obingwa that he remains unshaken and undaunted in his committed aspiration to serving the resilient, resourceful and good people of the senatorial district.
