Tunisia midfielder, Aissa Laidouni has said they are not scared of Nigeria’s Super Eagles going into their knockout game at the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

Laidouni said that the Carthage Eagles are battle ready and will fight from the start to the end.

Nigeria would face the North Africans, who barely scraped through the group stage after picking just three points from their three group games.

Mondher Kebaier’s team is depleted at the moment as 11 players are already ruled out having tested positive to Covid-19 ahead of the match at the Roumde Adjia Stadium, Garoua on Sunday.

Despite this, the midfielder is confident the Carthage Eagles can scale through the hurdle and secure a place in the quarter-final.

“Our journey to the knockout stage has not been easy because of COVID-19. Each time we do our test, we are under pressure,” Laidouni told the media on Saturday.

“We are not scared of any team. We will continue fighting and do that till the end.”
