The Publisher of an Online Platform, News Mirror – www.newsmirrorng.com, Prince Clinton Uba has called on the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau and all the football governing body officials to demand and urge them for a live broadcast of the Nigeria Professional League match between Rangers International Football Club of Enugu and Enyimba International Football club of Aba slated for Sunday, 7th May, 2024 at Enugu, over what he described as the desperation of Enugu Rangers International Football Club and her fans to win at all cost.


Recall that for the past one month, the media spaces have been bombarded by the boastful Enugu Rangers Fans, lead by one Mr. Okwuluora who has already claimed victory even when the match is yet to be played.


Mr. Clinton Uba said, the feelers from Enugu suggest there are clandestine moves by the officials and fans of Enugu Rangers to win the match at all cost, which calls for caution and vigilance.

The Publisher of News Mirror thereby call on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL ) and match Commissioners to save the League from any unforseen bad officiating be beaming the match live on Television, while at the same time, monitoring the officiating, describing desperation as an evil that can induce changing of rules in any contest, be it in sports or politics.


He also called on the Abia State Commissioner for Sports, Mr. Nwaobilor Ananaba, Enyimba International Football Club Chairman, Nwankwo Kanu, the dependable Coach, Olanrewaju Yemi Daniel ‘Yema’ to be watchful of bad officiating.

Mr. Uba reminded the Referees, match Commissioners and the football house officials that ” ALL EYES ARE ON THEM” based on the noise this match has generated and that they either do the right calling or end their career in shame.
