Former Chairman of Ariaria International Market and CEO of Skyview Lounge, Aba, Comrade Chijioke Michael Amaku (MC Boss), received members of the Aba North Legislative Council, led by Leader Hon. Promise Egbu, in his office. Amaku expressed gratitude to the legislators for identifying with him and praised Governor Alex Otti’s administration for its inclusive governance, which has impressed all Abians regardless of party affiliations.
He noted that his recent visit to a PDP function in the state showcased his personality and commended the Labour Party and councilors for accepting him into the party despite the struggles during the election. Amaku acknowledged the transformation that Governor Alex Otti has brought to the state, citing the reconstruction of the Port Harcourt Road project as one that cannot be forgotten by the people of Aba.
Hon. Promise Egbu, the Leader of the Aba North Legislative Council, enumerated the numerous achievements of Governor Alex Otti within his first year in office, including the reconstruction of several roads, improvement in healthcare services, and enhancement of security in the state. Comrade Amaku expressed his readiness to support the councilors in grading some rural roads in Aba North if called upon.
He reiterated his commitment to the development of the area and his willingness to collaborate with the councilors to achieve this goal. In their separate speeches, Hon. Chijioke Dick, Hon. Egbu, and Hon. Chibueze Nnanta commended Comrade Amaku for his grassroots approach and pledged their support. They appreciated the councilor from Ariaria Ward 9, Hon. Chibueze Nnanta, for organizing the gathering and acknowledged Comrade Amaku’s political influence in the market.
The councilors passed a vote of confidence on Comrade Amaku, which was moved by Hon. Chijioke Dick and seconded by Hon. Christian Nna-ekezie. The event was attended by media teams from News Mirror Newspapers and GTV.
