It is not the first time, we are hearing about US president Donald trump talking about hydrochloroquin. Earlier at around a Matrch, he had claimed that the antimalarial drug hydrochloroquin can treat covid-19. Another doctor has now claimed that she has treated over 200 patients with the same hydrochloroquin which was earlier on dismissed by researchers.

The US president has therefore defended and supported the controversial Texas doctor, Stella Immanuel who has been using un proven hydrochloroquin drug for treatment of covid-19 patients. He said that she has not been alone but with other doctors. The video which was on YouTube had been pulled down having already achieved over 10M viewers.

The study had shown that hydrochloroquin is not effective which lead to her being taken to Supreme court in Washington called the ‘white Court summit’.

According to Dr. Stella, the studies showing hydrochloroquin not being effective were ‘fake’ and research done by fake ‘pharmaceutical companies’.

Mr Trump said: “She was on air, along with other doctors, and they were big fans of hydroxychloroquine and I thought she was very impressive. She says she has had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients. I thought her voice was an important voice, but I know nothing about her.”

Donald Trump’s son also had shared a video of Dr Stella on you tube.
