46 year old Olatunji Sobola carried out the attack on his wife, Momudat, 38, on Saturday, February 13.
Olatunji has been arrested by Ogun state police command over his wife’s murder on mere infidelity suspicion.
Olatunji told police that he confronted his wife over some text messages on her phone, and it led to a fight between them. He, subsequently, took a knife and stabbed her at the back.
The mother of three was quickly rushed to a hospital where she died.
