The Rector, Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Associate Professor Hagler Okorie, has congratuated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti on his inauguration as the new Executive Governor of Abia State.
In his congratulatory message to the new Governor of Abia state, Prof. Okorie described Dr. Alex Otti as a human capital developer, technocrat and an administrator par excellence.
Prof. Okorie on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Abia State Polytechnic, maintained that the ovation that ushered Dr. Alex Otti emergence is a sign of his wide acceptability by Abians, reminding him that the task before him is enormous, but assured of unalloyed support of the citadel of learning.
The Rector expressed confidence in the capacity of Gov. Alex Otti to tackle the task of governance. He also congratulated the Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, and prayed the Almighty God to endow them with the enablement to successfully carry out their duties without fear or favour to the overall benefit of Abia residents.
