The newly appointed Transition Committee Chairman, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Sir Chinedu Ugoala has assumed office and has directed that all the revenue collecting agency units of the council should be dissolved immediately.

Sir Ugoala, who gave the directive while officially assuming office at the Council headquarters, Okpuala Ngwa, said his primary focus of service is to ensure total victory of the PDP in Isiala Ngwa North.
The Isiala Ngwa North boss appreciated the state Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, the PDP leadership for micro zoning the Governorship Candidate to Isiala Ngwa North,adding that the choice of Chief Okey Ahiwe is the best for the State .
He solicited all PDP faithful in the area to reach out to those in other parties for massive support for Chief Okey Ahiwe, while urging them to embark on daily door to door Campaigns
In their speeches,the PDP Chairman Isiala Ngwa north,Elder Sam Esindu,the Campaign Coordinator,Isiala Ngwa north, Chief Gaius Anyanwu,and Sir Godfrey Jiakpona congratulated the TC Chairman and his deputy,Amb.Uba Anyanwu for the appointment,and charged them to work towards delivering all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Also speaking on behalf of women,the Secretary to the Local Govt. Mrs Ijeoma Nwankwo assured that the women will vote massively for PDP.
Responding ,the Deputy TC,Chairman, Amb.Uba Anyanwu, thanked the state government and the people for their confidence in them,and promised that they will not disappoint them.
The highpoint was a one minute silence observed for the former Abia PDP Governorship Candidate, Late Prof. Uche Eleazer Ikonne, who Sir Ugoala described as his Boss and master.
