Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar took to his Twitter page to reveal that his son, Adamu, tested positive to coronavirus.
He added that his son had been taken to Gwagwalada Hospital, Abuja. However, that Adamu was taken to the hospital is not the end of the matter.
The new twist to it is that Atiku’s son attended the recent Ibadan rally of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) where he interacted with many people.
It was however established that many, especially those senior party officials and government functionaries met with him and have now been directed to go on self-quarantine.
However, a new case of coronavirus was reported in Oyo on Monday morning.
Governor Makinde who organised the rally had apologised but the consequences of organising a rally amid the outbreak of a serious deadly virus have started showing up.
We hope it doesn’t cost the whole nation grave punishments.
