“I never duped, stolen nor defrauded any company, companies or duped anyone; it’s never in me”, were the pathetic words of Brenda Eve Ndukwe (Akwaugo) AKA Mama G Jnr., as she marked her birthday anniversary.
The Financial Secretary, Actors Guild of Nigeria Delta State who amidst a broken heart, debunked the viral allegations levelled against her by a certain loan company.
This is contained in a press statement signed by Akwaugo one of Ikwuano LGA of Abia State and made available to Famousreporters.com, today, Wednesday, November 24.
The proud daughter of Ikwuano who expressed immense gratitude to God Almighty for seeing her through the difficult times, instigated by the scandal, explained that, she had from inception, maintained a life of integrity.
It would be recalled that some company had at the beginning of the year 2021, forwarded messages to the contacts of you the soft spoken and easy going Actor, wherein she was accused of involvement in fraudulent activities.
She, therefore, implored the general public particularly her fans to discard the rumour, describing it as baseless and unfounded, adding, “I can’t involve myself in any dirty act, till the end of my life”.
She, however, expressed disappointment in those who inspite of their knowledge of her legacies, did not hesitate to gulp the said information.

Words can’t express how greatfull I am to God almighty for his love,protection and blessings upon my life,above all,for the gift of life . Trust me, it wasn’t easy getting to this stage of my life. I am using this great opportunity to make this straight and direct clarification to you my friends, family and most especially, my all my fans about the scandalous message, targeted to impugn my integrity, some months ago, alleging that I Brenda Eve Ndukwe (Akwaugo) AKA Mama G Jnr, defrauded, stolen or dupe a company, companies, person or persons. I was almost losing my mind, because of the pain, the hurt, that led to emotional, and phycological stress. In fact, I was down spiritually but heaven showed up.
“Hear me, I never duped, stolen nor defrauded any company, companies or duped anyone; it’s never in me. What actually transpired was that I only took a loan and was behind in repayment and because I couldn’t pay up at the due date, the company went as far as sending scandalous messages or messages across to all my contacts, they even lied that some contacts were used as my Guarantors on my application form.
“It’s so so unfortunate to know that the people that I thought knew me do not know me. All my life, I have lived a life of integrity, because I have a dignity to protect as a lady, because lots out there both home and abroad await positive results from me. I can’t involve myself in any dirty act, till the end of my life. I am a lady that has so much love and respect for humanity and in my capacity as the Financial Secretary, Actors Guild of Nigeria Delta State, I have worked so diligently till date without an iota of misconduct that could compromise my hard earned integrity.
I decided to put this straight today, the 24th day of November,which is my most happiest day, so you’ll know the truth behind the scandalous message because I have come to understand that often times, when we don’t tell our own part of the story, we open the door for rumor mongers and jobless haters to tell our story to suit their campaign of calumny.
I appreciate all of you for your love, calls and concerns regarding the issue then,and I deeply apologize for all the inconveniences this ugly incident might have caused all of you. May God preserve and bless you all abundantly for my sake!

Meanwhile, it is no longer news that some hoodlums have, in their desperate quest for money, resorted to sending falsified, scandalous messages to some individuals.
This perceived act is geared towards ridiculing the image of their victim in the sight of those who hold them in high esteem.
