Worried by the dwindling economy, Sir Mac Atasie, CEO, Nextzon Business Services Ltd has for 17 years, poised to leverage his knowledge base, relationships, and core values, which is innovation to systematically provide winning ideas and models to help move Nigeria, Abia State to a greater height.

Sir Atasie, who stated this at the weekend while interacting with newsmen, said his 17 years of being a CEO of a very innovative professional services firm, has armed him with the requisite experience to manage key sectors of the economy.

He revealed that under his watch as CEO, his team worked for the World Bank, the IFC, half of Nigerian Banks, manufacturing and insurance companies as well as ICT firms, adding that they launched many businesses in various sectors.

The Financial Expert, said there has been synergy between his team and the Central Bank of Nigeria and NAICON, as they have worked for them at various point in time in addition to working in at least 25 different African countries and providing expertise advice on how to salvage their economies.

Speaking further, Sir Atasie revealed that he has been privileged to work with stakeholders in providing the current National Identity Scheme (NIN among others) just as he has assisted in promoting the current payments industry including leading automation in the Internally Generated Revenue Space.

On his working relationship with the World Bank, Sir Atasie, reiterated that his team, provided land registry solutions under a World Bank Scheme, introduced the shared platforms for Microfinance Banks, worked for some of the leading conglomerates, assisted Nigerians take banking to other African countries.

He also maintained that his wealth of experience in management of the economy, has also seen him guide people in commercialised businesses, incubation and angel investing, introduce the brand of governance consultancy services, that is the embedded model.

Sir Atasie, pointed out that his team has introduced innovations that have shaped humanity, adding that they also work with leading Islamic or none interest banks in Nigeria and their insurance counterparts from Lagos to Rivers, Cross River to Abia, Anambra to Benue while they have also worked for many parastatals in States and several Agencies at the Federal level.

He concluded by revealing that their business, has provided employment and grooming environment for over 300 professionals, emphasizing that grooming done for companies, will increase the number while noting that if these structures are carefully built, the economy of Abia State and Nigeria at large, will be unmatched in the coming years.
