The Mbutu Ama iri na isii Welfare Union Aba Branch Women wing yesterday paid a courtesy /congratulatory visit on their son and Deputy Transition Committee Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA Barr. Prince Enyioma Okpanku at his office in Omoba the council headquarters.

Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation and President Mbutu Ama iri na isii Welfare Union Aba branch Lady Stella Ukaumunna described Prince Okpanku as an astute politician and a young man with vigor and zeal to contribute his quota towards the development of Mbutu Land and Isiala Ngwa South in general. Lady Ukaumunna equally thanked the governor Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for appointing Barr Okpanku as the Deputy Transition Committee Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA and expressed optimism that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear having served is such capacity previously while congratulating him on his well deserved appointment. She also lauded the Speaker Abia House of Assembly Engr. Chinedum Orji for his Sterling legacies at the Hallowed Chambers especially for the complete renovation of the Assembly complex and thanked the Deputy chairman for the warm reception accorded them.

Also speaking, the administrative secretary of Isiala Ngwa South LGA Dr Kate -Thelma Obilor commended the women ? for their thought out ideas and plans to empower and carry along their Co wife’s.

Responding, the Deputy Transition Committee Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA Barr. Prince Enyioma Okpanku lauded the women for their supportive roles in their respective families while urging them to sustain the tempo and reassured of his undiluted support towards the Union.

High point of the visit was the presentation of COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD to Barr. Enyioma Okpanku in recognition of his meritorious service as a community leader and immense contribution towards the growth and development of Mbutu Land. Chief Lady Stella Ukaumunna was accompanied on the visit by Mrs Favour Isaac, Mrs Ohuoba Oluchi, Mrs Etchewa Nneoma and Mrs Ijeoma Emeka.
