Maize Association of Nigeria MAAN and Maize Growers and Processor’s Association of Nigeria (MAGPAMAN) have commenced the Distribution of farming inputs in the state.
These events are taking place simultaneously at the state ministry of Agriculture library avenue Umuahia and, Government College premises ,Umuahia.
Speaking during the flag off ceremony, the Program Manager Abia Agricultural Development Programme Hon Chief Israel Amanze (Izybest) thanked God that this distribution has finally become a reality in Abia state.
He urged the maize farmers to make judicious use of this golden opportunity to
improve their economies and become bigger farm business men and women.
He thanked the Quintessential GOVERNOR of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu PhD for his unflinching support to the program.
Recall that the Program Manager has earlier directed the immediate distribution of farming inputs to Maize farmers
Speaking, the CBN Representatives Mr Aglet Celcius admonished the maize farmers to cease this opportunity to boost maize production in the state.
The Chairman Maize Association of Nigeria MAAN. Chief Onyenkachi Erondu thanked the Governor for his support and threw encomiums on Hon. Chief Israel Amanze for result Oriented leadership.
