There is jubilation in Enugu state as residents trooped out in thousands to jubilate after the Spiritual director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Father Ejike Mbaka reappeared.
There was tension early on Wednesday following report that the priest was missing.
Many youths protested, over fears that he had been picked up by security operatives or gunmen over his recent call on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign or be impeached.
In a live video update on Wednesday afternoon by BBC Pidgin, Mbaka was seen in an open roof car waving to protesters who surrounded him alongside operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
As the time of filing this report, the Catholic priest has not yet given update on where he was when his church members were scared over his whereabouts.
