In continuation of the rural road grading project embarked upon by the transition committee chairman, chief Nkem Onwubiko. Myself in company of some leaders in Mbutu political bloc flagged off the rural road grading for the zone.
The significant part is that a founding member of the People’s Democratic Party in the state and founder ONUOCHI FOUNDATION NETWORK Rt Hon Damian Anayo Ozurumba was present and he lauded the Isiala Ngwa South Council boss for bringing on board this positive idea which if completed will ease the sufferings of the rural dwellers especially farmers and other road users. The former lawmaker equally lauded the efforts of Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu who is poised in delivering dividends of democracy down to the grassroot through the Local Government Representatives and prayed God to bless them.
I also notified them that the rural road grading project will cut across the four (4) political blocs in Isiala Ngwa South LGA and solicited for the cooperation of the hardworking people of Isiala Ngwa South and urged the supervisors of the project and operators of the machines to be dedicated to work.
The ceremony attracted the presence of the councilor representing Mbutu Ngwa Ward 4 Hon. Innocent Ugorji and his ward 14 counterpart Hon. Theodore Añumadu ,a former councilor from Mbutu Hon. Ugbogu Izuchukwu amongst others.
