Google set to trains 100 entrepreneurs, Ayade entices company to rollout $1bn to boost businesses in Cross River

Google LLC, an American global technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware on Monday, guaranteed to coach no fewer than 100 entrepreneurs in Cross River State.

While grooming a Tech hub in the Capital City, Calabar, the special assistant to the Cross River State Governor on Digital Media, Mr. David Peter expressed his delight of the collaborative efforts with the multi-tech firm, According to him, “The Cross River State Government is pleased with the positive riposte of Google LLC, an American multinationals company to skill-up entrepreneurs in Cross River state.”

He addd that, “His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade is competently exposed to global trades across the world and he desires to glimpse entrepreneurs in the state to peak internationally.” Therefore, this necessitated the government collaboration with the multinational tech companies to enhance our provincial-made products and services to the global market.”

Continuing, the digital aide assured, entrepreneurs, will be granted credible access to benefit from the grants let out by Google LLC.

According to him, “Google recently announced it will invest $1 billion over the next five years to allow for faster and more affordable internet access and support entrepreneurship in Africa. “Cross River is advantageous, we have been incorporated to the division to secure feasible access to the funding opportunities after the exercise,” Ayade aide said.
