It was a show of exquisite cultural exhibition as this year’s National Festival of Arts and Culture kick starts in Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti state Capital with the theme, CELEBRATING NATIONAL UNITY IN DIVERSITY
The event was declared open by Ekiti state and Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum His Excellency Governor Kayode Fayemi.
Miss Atuloma Jackie who is the Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Culture and Tourism represented Abia State where she also gave a good account of the abundant cultural artifacts and Tourism centers in Abia, while speaking to news men Miss Atuloma said that Abia State is blessed with tourist centers like Azumini Blue River, Uturu Caves to mention but a field she made a Clarion Call for investors to come and harness abundant tourist sites in Abia as it is now a lucrative business
Several dignitaries that attended the occasion include Otunba Olusegun Runsewe DG National Council for Arts and Culture, Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Artist Director/CEO National Troupe of Nigeria, Honourable Commissioner for Culture, Arts and Tourism Imo state Mazi Uche Ohia and other personalities too numerous to be mentioned.
The highpoint of the ceremony was the cultural procession by all the states present at event.
