EXERCISE ATILOGWU UDO 1: NIGERIAN ARMY FLAGS OFF MEDICAL OUTREACH IN AKANU OHAFIA

The Nigerian Army on Tuesday flagged off 14 brigade Ohafia free medical outreach with the assurance that the gesture will continue as a means of giving back to the society.

Speaking at the event which held at Ekelogo square, in Akanu, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, the Acting General Officer Commanding, 82 Division Enugu, Brigadier General L.A Adeboye, says the medical outreach is part of activities marking the flag off of “Exercise atilogwu Udo 1”, a military exercise taking place in the south east from November 1st, 2019.

Earlier, the traditional ruler of Akanu Ohafia, H.R.H Ezieogo Mba Odo Okereke (JP), on behalf of the people of Ania thanked the brigade for the gesture.

He says the medical outreach which covers Eye, Dental and general medicine, will make great impact in the lives of his people.

He further calls on the people of Akanu and Ania in general to be law abiding and avoid any form of clash with the soldiers during the Exercise Atilogwu Udo 1 which will be officially flagged off on Friday November 1st, 2019.
