It is not often that the outcome matches and even surpasses the plan and projection. This is refreshingly the case with the Enyimba Mall at Aba.
To be sure, I knew about the project and had seen promotional materials and even live pictures from those who had been there. So I decided to go myself to check out the place so that when I do talk about it, it would be a direct factual report and not Secondary information.
I was marvelled and elated at what I saw. I engaged the promoter of the enterprise and distilled first-hand, his passion and commitment to the project which immediately told me why it was a succes.
Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has always declared Abia State open for business and since his assumption of office, he has ensured maximum support and encouragement to those who key into his vision and invest in Abia State.
Mr. Chiedoziem Njoku, a Diasporan who decided to invest in his homestate has empirically shown what is possible when determination meets support.
Today, the Enyimba Mall is a refreshingly positive addition to the business landscape of Aba and Abia State. It is proof of what is possible. Concrete, irrefutable proof.
Despite challenges – forseen and unforseen – Mr. Njoku persevered and he has delivered a masterpiece. This is no film trick. It is real and standing.
The project is 90% complete and already has near 40% occupancy with shops selling by the day rapidly. This is a succes story for those familiar with the uptake projection for real estate investments of the kind.
A veritable Jewel in the Enyimba City, The Enyimba Mall sits on a prime land bestriding busy streets on all sides with 5 standard entrances. Well-paved and environmentally compliant with flora and fauna, the shops match what is expected of similar facilities anywhere.
Here’s to congratulate Mr. Njoku for his resilience and dedication to the project and to commend Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for creating the enabling environment for enterprises to thrive in Abia State.
This is an invitation to all those in the Diaspora and even here with us in Nigeria and Abia who are desirous of similar investments. The land is green. The offtakers are waiting for you.
This is also a credit to the new direction which is private-sector-led investments. Government alone cannot provide all the facilities required for the development of a State/City. The private sector should be the primary driver of investments so that Government can dedicate its resources to providing infrastructure and basic social amenities.
Kudos once again to Mr. Njoku and here’s praying that your projection of full occupancy before December 2021 happens before the date you have set. Iwu dimkpa.
