The world needs love and religious tolerance to live together in peace and unity. We should also know that hate speech, violence and toxic environment will never produce or foster peace and unity.
However, the visitation of President Muhammadu Buhari to The Most Rev’d Justin Welby, The Archbishop of Canterbury at the Lambeth Palace London has really sent a good signal and leadership by example to the world political and religious leaders in a crucial time like this and therefore implies to other world political and religious leaders to follow suit for the sake of God’s love for mankind, peace and unity in our society.
There is nothing we can gain by preaching hatred in our various worship centers but than to put us apart and create enemity that will further destroy our good relationship and peaceful coexistence.
Therefore, as our fellow brothers and sisters in Islam celebrate Eld-el Malaud, I extend my goodwill and heartfelt message in sincere love to everyone of you.
Let us know it clearly that, we can only make progress and enjoy peaceful atmosphere where there is love and unity.
