According to her facebook profile, Deborah is a graduate of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State and a native of Owode-Yewa, in Yewa South Local Government area of the State.

Since the outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria, both public and private schools have been shut down.

With this, teachers working in private schools have been lamenting as they are no more making money.

But Deborah said she cannot sit idle at home. She said she would turn the negative in COVID-19 to positive in terms of earnings.

She said:

“A WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS LIKE ME.

The best way to be happy is to turn the negatives into positives, don’t let Covid – 19 pandemic steal our joy, and let’s be thankful for what we have. When there is life, there is hope.

We can’t stay idle and be praying for blessing from the above. Let’s find something good doing and the blessing will come through it.

“A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have throw at him. Covid-19 has thrown the bricks to us as private school teachers. What we need to do now is to lay a firm foundation with the bricks the pandemic throws to us.

“One love to you all..”
