Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Sunday scored 250 votes to emerge victorious at the Ebonyi South All Progressive Congress, APC, Senatorial re-run election in the State.
The election, which took place at the Afikpo North Local Government Headquarters, witnessed the presence of Security operatives, APC supporters, Journalists, among others.
But, we could not confirm the presence of INEC officials. His victory is coming few weeks after INEC has shut down their portal, ending all party primary elections.
It was learnt that Gov. Umahi got a court order for the re -run after he lost out of the initial primary election as another court had his ambition cut short by disqualifying him.
