Yesterday, 19/03/2022 Chief Prosper Aruike Ejimofor (MD/CEO Excalade Hotel and Suites, Aba) made his intention known to his PDP Imenyi Ward 1, Isuikwuato LGA members to represent the good people of Isuikwuato State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly come 2023. That his desire to aspire for such position is premised on his belief to give the people of Isuikwuato LGA quality, effective and accessible representation and called for their unflinching support to make his aspiration a reality.
This declaration from Chief Ejimofor sparked a wild jubilation from his Ahaba Imenyi kinsmen as they were unanimous in their resolve to send him to represent Isuikwuato Constituency at the Abia House of Assembly noting that he has all it takes for this job come 2023.
In their separate reactions, Honorables Kalu Oku, Ugwa Okeigbo and Orunta Amadi Obi thanked Chief Ejimofor for the bold step in making the declaration as they promised their unreserved support and endorsement for his candidacy.
The high point of the event was putting his acceptance and endorsement into voice vote by Hon. Orunta Amadi Obi as the electrifying crowd chorused “Yes” to his aspiration and prayers was offered for him.
Those present during this all important declaration were; Hon. Deacon Friday Abbah, Hon. Prince Kalu Eke, Hon. Orunta Amadi Obi, Chief Ogbonnaya Orji, Elder Sunday Okoronkwo, Chief Arisa Ifokwe, Hon. Orunta Chima (present Councillor Imenyi 1), Hon. Ugwa Okeigbo (present Councillor Imenyi 2 ward 14), Hon. Kalu Oku, Mr. Andrew Ndubuisi Igwe, PDP Chairman Ezere Ward 2, Dr. Enyinnaya Orunta, Hon. Mrs. Chinasa John, Mr. Okorie O. Ezeikpe, PDP ward Chairman Imenyi 1 and all other ward executive members as well as others too numerous to mention.
Chief Ejimofor further promised to pay for a party office their Imenyi ward as he mandated the Chairman to look for a more comfortable place. He made cash donation as well as food and drinks for the teaming crowd that graced the occasion.
