Enyinnaya Abaribe and his campaign team at Isialangwa North PDP office, during his visit to PDP stakeholders in his quest for Abia Governorship seat, 2023
” This act of violence has been exactly what my family and I, including members of my campaign team have been passing through since i declared my intention to run for Abia state Governorship seat”.
“Let me state categorically that such barbaric act is condemnable, as nobody has the right to attack another for declaring his ambition”.
“We shouldn’t import violence as being witnessed in some neighbouring states to our peaceful coexistence in Abia”.
“Therefore, i call on our revered Traditional rulers, Religious leaders, Abia State Chapter of People Democratic Party and indeed our parents and guidance to call their subjects to order, as violence is an ill wind that blows nobody any good”.
Sadly, it is worthy to note this Ngwa axiom; ” Ógú a dîghî mma la ‘usokwu” n’ihi na ma ite awaghî ókú awaa.
