The FIFA Football Awards in Milan will host some of the sport’s most recognised names this evening.
The main award, Best FIFA Men’s Player, will go to one of Virgil van Dijk, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Van Dijk has already beaten his two rivals out to one award this year – the UEFA Player of the Year trophy.
And the Liverpool star is favourite to pick up his second gong this evening – but he faces stern competition in all-time greats Ronaldo and Messi

Van Dijk won the Champions League earlier this year with the Reds and Ronaldo picked up the UEFA Nations League with Portugal.
While Messi’s incredible scoring statistics over the last year has kept him in the mix as well.
Elsewhere in the night’s proceedings, the Women’s Best Player award will be up for grabs.
Fighting for that trophy are England’s Lucy Bronze and American stars Megan Rapine and Alex Morgan

Morgan and Rapinoe won the Women’s World Cup in the summer while Bronze’s England were eliminated by the United States in the semi-finals.
The Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s coach will also be revealed tonight.
Premier League bosses Pep Guardiola, Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp are all in contention for the first award with Jill Ellis, Phil Neville and Sarina Wiegman being put up for the Women’s trophy.
And to round off the evening, both Men’s and Women’s Goalkeeper awards will be handed out, as well as the FIFA Puskas and FIFA fan prizes.
