News filtering in now allege that there is crisis rocking the Imo State House of Assembly now as five serving House of Imo State House of Assembly Members are suspended today.
They are :-
Hon. Uche Ogbuagu of Ikeduru
Hon. Philip Ejiogu – Owerri North
Hon. Onyemaechi Njoku – Ihitte Uboma
Hon. Anyadike Nwosu – Ezinihitte
Hon. Dominic Ezerioha – Oru West
and
Hon. Kennedy Ibeh – Obowo
It is alleged that they were suspended for what was termed as gross misconduct.
However, the details is very sketchy as at press time
In the same vein,
Hon. Arthur Egwim has be removed As Chip Whip and replaced with Rt Hon Obinna Opara Of Nkwerre Constituency.
Aside from that, all the standing committees of the house has been dissolved.
Some political watchers allege it was a counter plot against the purported plot to impeach the speaker.
