The Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of the following as commissioners for Abia State Independent Electoral Commission.
They are:
1) Prince Dan Okoli.
2) Onyebinanma Sunday Onyebinanma.
3) Dan Onwutuebe
4) Henry Okachie Okere.
5) Enyinnaya Ezere
6) Mrs Precious Achumba.
In view of the subsisting tenure, the Chairman of the Commission remains Prof. Nkpa Agu Nkpa. The names of the new Commissioners will be forwarded to Abia State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
