The Indigenous People of Biafra has directed the removal of the Nigeria Flag in the various states of Biafraland. This was made public by Mazi Chika Edoziem Head of IPOB Directorate of State dated September 24, 2021 and it reads
Every flag of Nigeria in Biafra Land should be brought down effectively tonight except Banks.
We exempt Banks in Biafra Land because the enemy might take advantage of this instruction to go and rob a bank and say it’s IPOB who came to remove Nigerian flag. Therefore, IPOB will communicate leadership to the banks to do it themselves and if they fail to do it, we do it ourselves.
