The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr.A.C.B.Agbazuere has charged media workers to be objective in the propagation of the activities and programs of the state government.
Dr. Agbazuere who gave the charge when he received in audience the Government House press corps in his office in Umuahia reminded them of the need for them to be dedicated, committed in the discharge of their dduties.
The Chief of Staff described journalists as image Makers of any society reiterating that the roles they play cannot be overemphasized.
He ejoined them to see their job as a call to serve as well as avoid any act of espionage, promising that he will do everything possible to see that the new NUJ Secretariat is fully completed before the end of next year.
Responding,the Director of Information, Government House Press Corps,Mr Jinanwa Azubuike said they came to show solidarity as well as felicitate with Dr. A.C.B Agbazuere on his appointment as the new Chief of Staff to the Governor, promising to work hand in glove with him to enable him deliver on his mandate.
Correspondent reports that some management and staff of the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor were present during the visit.
