It was an emotional atmosphere of sorrow and solidarity, as a respected son of Arochukwu Kingdom, Dr. Nkemka Jombo-Ofo was laid to rest.
Dr. Jombo-Ofo was until his death a few weeks ago, the representative of the South East region in the Police Service Commission (PSC).
The burial witnessed the presence of many high profile citizens from different walks of life which included the former governor of Abia state and the senator representing Abia North in the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former national Chairman of APGA, Senator Victor Umeh, a financial expert and former APGA governorship candidate, Dr. Alex Otti, former Senator representing Abia North in the Senate, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and many others too numerous to mention.
After the burial, chieftains of the APC who came in their large numbers and many other dignitaries visited Dr. Otti at his house in Arochukwu, during which they deliberated on many critical issues.
