The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has nominated Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, as running mate to the party’s governorship flag bearer, Prof Charles Soludo, ahead of the November 6, 2021 ballot.
Ibezim, a native of Mbaukwu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, currently serves as Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Indigenous Medicine and Herbal Practice.
He is also the Managing Director of Anambra Oxygen Plant located at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku, Awka.
Dr. Ibezim, a medical doctor by profession, also serves as the Executive Director of Anambra State Agency for Control of HIV/AIDS (ANSACA).
He is the younger brother to the Archbishop, Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Revd. Alexander Ibezim.
