Abia State Political discuss has been very turbulent lately as many zones and divides struggle to lay claim to which of the zones is entitled to produce the next Governor of Abia State come May 2023.
Many Abians and non Abians are worried that we have allowed competence,Integrity,capacity, passion and good governance to take back stage as what Abia needs now than zoning which has not helped Abia move foward.
Abia State is currently at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will require a very competent doctor without bias as where he or she comes from. A State that has not been opportune to showcase it’s full potentials due to primordial sentiments of zoning and other factors.
Today, Abia needs a man in the frame of the immediate past Commissioner of Finance who has demonstrated capacity, intelligence, integrity, passion with local knowledge of Abia Problems within the four years he served as Commissioner for finance.
Obinna demonstrated high political will by rising against those that have held us down while he served without renumeration for four years from Abia State . He touched the untouchables with the reforms he initiated and has been an ardent believer in good governance / Leadership which he identified as Abia’s major problem.
His bulk of public sector experience comes from his service to two past governors of Enugu State His Excellency Chimaroke and Sulivan while with First bank of Nigeria as Regional Manager Public sector .
As Obinna Oriaku ,who has shone like a beacon of hope for good governance toward Abia renaissance marks 49 years today, we pray that God who crown kings finds him worthy to serve Abians come 2023 . His leadership will inspire hope ,development and Abia renaissance as he has been tested and proven. His intelligence, age and healthy disposition by Gods grace is a plus towards our drive for a NEW Abia which we believe is POSSIBLE under Oriaku even as Abia is not beyond REDEMPTION.
