Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba (Jagaban Kontagora), today, organised a capacity building and empowerment scheme for women and youths in Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency of Niger State.
The empowerment scheme aims to eradicate poverty and provide self-reliant job opportunities amongst women and youths within the constituency. List of items distributed at the event;
– 40 Tricycles (Keke-Napep)
– 40 Sewing Machines
– 40 Grinding Machines
– 40 Shoe-making Machines
– 40 Vulcanizing Machines
– 55 Motorcycle
– And 55 constituents to be provided with the sum of N205,000 each to start up their businesses on fishery and farm products production.
