COMMITTEE FOR NATIONWIDE YOUTH ENGAGEMENT: EXCLUSION OF MYM BETRAYS ESTABLISHED TRUST BETWEEN YOUTHS AND GOVERNMENT.
The #Maduforo Youth Movement has observed with dismay the misjudged exclusion of members of the statewide youth movement in the recently constituted youth engagement committee as inaugurated by the deputy governor.
While we understand that setting up such committee is strictly the prerogative of the government and it’s agency, it would be tantamount to neglect of the overwhelming gain and cordial corporation by the youths of Abia since the unfriendly experience of the #EndSARS saga to exclude a well organized, and intellectual viable youth movement such like ours.
The Maduforo Youth Movement having met all necessary criteria of discipline and decency, however request that the state government accommodate her members in the new committee, in the overall interest of Abia youths, the Gov. Ikpeazu led government, and the state at large.
