The member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, in Abia state House of Assembly, Hon. Ginger Obinna Owusibe, in order for his constituents to cushion the effect of the Sit – At – Home order by government due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, has unveiled the distribution the following food items as a way of supporting them in this challenging period of COVID-19 lockdown in Abia State.
The items are;-
1) – 500 Hand Sanitizers
2) – 150 bags of rice.
3) – 3,000 tubers of yam,
4) – 150 cartons of indomie,
5) – Bags of Garri.
6) – Cartons of Maggi.
7) – Cartons of milk.
8) – Cartons of Milo.
9) – Cash of One Million Naira (N1,000,000).
It will take place at Ginger Sam Amanaha Mini Stadium, Amapu Ntigha on Wednesday, 8th April, 2020 and the time is 10am
The release said, only invited representatives are expected to be at the venue so as to maintain the social-distancing measures.
He addede that, the items when taken to the polling units are expected to get to the ‘poorest of the poor’ across all party lines.
